Empowered Parenthood Australia was born from a deep calling to bring Christ back to the centre of pregnancy, birth, and parenting.

Our founder and director, Nina Samuel, is a born-again believer, wife to her high-school sweetheart Abraham, and mum to two beautiful children, Eliana and Ezra. Nina is a Registered Nurse, Certified Childbirth Educator, and Doula. She is passionate about God’s divine design for the human body, especially the profound miracle of pregnancy and birth.

Through both the joys and challenges of her own motherhood journey, Nina felt God stirring her heart to walk alongside other expecting couples in a way that had never been done before in Australia — with Jesus at the very centre, as He drew her attention to 2 Corinthians 1:4 — “He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others”.

Nina’s vision is to see couples approach childbirth not with fear, but with faith, confidence, and joy, knowing that because of Jesus’ victory on the cross, parents too can walk in victory.

What officially began in September 2024 as Wonderfully Motherhood — inspired by Psalm 139:14 — has now, by God’s leading, grown into Empowered Parenthood Australia: a registered not-for-profit organisation pioneering faith-based birth education to empower parents, strengthen families, and glorify God across our nation like never before.
